The ‘Can’t See Can’t Be’ campaign spread awareness on how important it is for our young girls to see more female sporting role models. The 2022 Leinster U16 Championship kick starts this weekend and is the perfect opportunity to go to a county game close to home. Our Kilkenny squad travel to Tinryland Saturday at 7pm to take on Carlow in the opening round of the competition. The U16 games are strictly ticket only and are available at link below. Adult tickets are only 5 euro with all children u14 free of charge. So get your Kilkenny gear out and come support the girls this Saturday in Carlow in what promises to be a great game of ladies gaelic football.

Conor Gorey continues as U16 Manager this season and it is hoped he can once again get this group to a Leinster final. Our U16s lost out to Louth last year in the 2021 Leinster final. Conor is again joined by Regina Moran, Martin Patterson (pictured above) and John Gorey (also pictured above) and they are eagerly anticipating the coming season. Carlow is this weekend  in round 1 followed by Offaly on March 19th and Wicklow on April 9th.
