Hopes are high for the Kilkenny U14 team who will take part in the New Look Leinster Championship beginning in just over two weeks time. This years New Look Championship will see Kilkenny take on all other 11 counties in Leinster over three days, namely, Sat. 22nd February, Sat. 14th March and Sat. 28th March. The finals will then be decided and played on Easter Monday the 13th April. The final placings will decide the grading for the All Ireland series.
This talented group of girls started training together in September 2019 but the panel emerged from the U13 Development squad that trained together from June. The group are really comfortable with each other at this stage and are ready and eager for the challenge that lies ahead. There are 30 enthusiastic girls on the panel coming from a wide range of clubs in Kilkenny…Thomastown LGFC, Dunnamaggin LGFC, Muckalee LGFC, Kilkenny City LGFC, Erins Own LGFC, John Locke’s LGFC and Piltown LGFC.
The Management panel is as follows, John Gorey, Conor Gorey, Regina Moran, Martin Patterson and Chloe Patterson who is helping out as part of her Transition Year Gaisce Award.
